Getting your player ready...
“I know he’d be a poorer man if he never saw an eagle fly. …” Saturday is a chance for you and your children to become enriched at the sight of the nation’s most majestic bird in the wild. The South Suburban Parks and Rec Department in Littleton is hosting a slide show and nature hike in hopes of viewing bald eagles nesting in the South Platte Park area. The adventure begins at 8:30 a.m., so register early or online (fees are $5 to $9) and dress accordingly. The hike is for adults and children 8 and older.
