Robyn Troup won the “My Grammy Moment” contest and performed with Justin Timberlake Sunday night. Backstage, Troup confirmed she auditioned for the current “American Idol.” Pressed by reporters if she made the cut to the 24 finalists, Troup said, “I can’t really talk about it.”

Kylie Minogue wants her fans to leave her ex-boyfriend alone. The Australian singer, 38, and French actor Olivier Martinez, 41, announced their separation this month after four years together. “As for the treatment Olivier has received of late, I can only reiterate that he simply does not deserve the kind of harassment or vitriol to which he has been subjected,” she wrote in a message posted on her website and reported by People magazine. The tabloid press speculated Martinez had been seen with another woman, reportedly actress Penelope Cruz who has denied being a love interest.

Timbaland told MTV News he was shocked when he asked Madonna to collaborate on a music project. “I reached out to Madonna, and she was already trying to find me. I’m like, ‘She was? Hmm.’ It’s funny. People will reach out to me, and I guess I beat them to the punch sometimes. It’s crazy to see how many people want to work with me. I’m still in shock.”

Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown – neither nominated for a Grammy – were caught by tmz.com with their daughter, Bobbi Christina, Sunday night at Dan Tana’s, the famous Beverly Hills Italian restaurant. Houston, who filed for divorce from Brown in October, spent the night before at record producer Clive Davis’ lavish pre-Grammys party.

Larry King and his seventh wife, Shawn Southwick, meanwhile, didn’t have a peaceful breakfast Thursday. Star magazine reported the couple got into a screaming match at the Beverly Hills delicatessen Nate ‘n Al. A King spokesman confirmed the couple “had an argument and some words were exchanged, but … (they) have hugged and made up.”
