Fort Collins — Former Catholic priest Timothy Evans was convicted this morning by a Larimer County jury of molesting a boy who was 17 at the time.

Evans was convicted of two counts of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust, and one count of sexual assault on a child in a position of trust/pattern of abuse.

He faces up to life in prison when he is sentenced May 30.

The minimum sentence for the charges is 10 years.
