1ST DISTRICT – Rep. Diana DeGette, Denver Democrat
Amount raised: $65,000
Cash on hand: $222,000
Biggest donors: $5,000 from political action committees of CH2M Hill Cos.
Noteworthy: Only four individuals gave money, contributing a total of $1,750. DeGette had the least expensive re-election campaign of the state’s seven House members, at $642,000.
2ND DISTRICT – Rep. Mark Udall, Eldorado Springs Democrat
Amount raised: $324,000
Cash on hand: $1.5 million
Biggest donors: $5,000 each from 15 PACs, including those of Englewood-based CH2M Hill, Raytheon, the National Beer Wholesalers Association, and organized labor groups.
Noteworthy: Expected to need at least $10 million to run for Senate.
3RD DISTRICT – Rep. Marilyn Musgrave, Fort Morgan Republican
Amount raised: $247,000
Cash on hand: $267,000
Biggest donors: $5,000, from the American Sugarbeet Growers Association PAC.
Noteworthy: Received $500 from a man in Guam.
4TH DISTRICT – Rep. John Salazar, Manassa Democrat
Amount raised: $194,000
Cash on hand: $160,000
Biggest donors: $5,000 each from PACs of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, CH2M Hill Cos., American Association for Justice.
Noteworthy: Received money from PACs of tobacco giant RJ Reynolds, Anheuser-Busch Cos. and Tyson Foods.
5TH DISTRICT – Rep. Doug Lamborn, Colorado Springs Republican
Amount raised: $75,000
Cash on hand: $50,000
Biggest donors: $5,000 each from the PACs of the American Bankers Association, the National Association of Realtors and the Committee for the Preservation of Capitalism.
Noteworthy: Pfizer and Exxon Mobil Corp. PACs each gave $1,000. The National Rifle Association PAC gave $2,500.
6TH DISTRICT – Rep. Tom Tancredo, Littleton Republican
Amount raised: $5,619
Cash on hand: $71,000
Biggest donors: $2,100 from a Naples, Fla., resident
Noteworthy: Shifted $70,000 to his presidential campaign.
7TH DISTRICT – Rep. Ed Perlmutter, Golden Democrat
Amount raised: $264,000
Cash on hand: $226,458
Biggest donors: Eight PACs each gave Perlmutter $5,000. Three of those were from labor unions representing steel workers, food and commercial workers, and aircraft owners and pilots.
Noteworthy: Former Denver mayor and Clinton Cabinet member Federico Peña gave Perlmutter $500.
