A 62-year-old man from Plentywood, Mont. was killed when his 1993 Buick collided Saturday with a 2005 Dodge Ram on Interstate-25 driven by a 19-year-old man from Lafayette, Calif., authorities say.

The name of the victim has not been released pending notification of his family, said Eric Wynn, spokesman for the Colorado State Patrol.

At 4:07, the pickup and the car were travelling north on I-25 near the Wyoming border when the Buick sideswiped the pickup and rolled off the highway, ejecting the and the 62-year-old driver, Wynn said.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.

Stephen Stary, who was driving the Dodge Ram, was not injured, Wynn said.

The highway was closed for about two hours during an investigation, he said. The cause of the crash is under investigation, he said.
