It’s so hot I could drink a cherry wheat beer.
Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat combines two elements of the brewmaster’s art that I’m not wild about – wheat and fruit – but I’ll make an exception.
The sweet, sweet cherry aroma is a bit off-putting but a brief burst of sweetness is replaced by a sprightly, well-balanced finish. Women, in particular, should find it attractive. It’s a tolerable 5.2 percent alcohol (by volume).
