DES MOINES, Iowa-
A Colorado man was arrested Tuesday in central Iowa after authorities discovered almost 700 pounds of marijuana in his vehicle—a street value of about $2 million, officials said.
Michael Suitt, of Centennial, Colo., was charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana and failure to affix drug tax stamp, according to the Dallas County sheriff’s office.
Deputies stopped Suitt during a routine traffic violation and arrested him after a drug dog detected marijuana in the pickup, authorities said.
Suitt was booked in the Dallas County Jail under a $42,250 bond.
