DENVER—Police on Wednesday were investigating the shooting of two bicyclists in different parts of the city.
Both shootings occurred late Tuesday about an hour apart, police spokesman John White said. Investigators haven’t determined whether the shootings were related.
Both men were hospitalized but their conditions weren’t known.
In the first case, a man in his early 20s was shot in the stomach while riding a bicycle in northwest Denver at 7 p.m. Then another man in his early 20s on a bicycle was shot by someone in a red sedan after they exchanged words, White said.
