FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Thousands of students rushed to Colorado State University on Thursday morning to get into their dorms.

Some didn’t wait for the official starting time.

The Coloradoan said the students also were struggling to shoehorn all their stuff into the rooms in Fort Collins.

Some used dollies and carts. The dorms will hold 51-hundred-83 students this year.

Police officers and student cadets patrolled the around campus to avoid traffic congestion and backups.
