The fair features performances by Daughtry, the All-American Rejects, Josh Turner and Clay Walker.
The midway will offer more than 45 rides.
One longtime fair event, the Ankole-Watusi cattle show, has been canceled because some of the participants are from Utah and bowed out because of the mine disaster there.
