PUEBLO, Colo.—In a scene reminiscent of days gone by, a train carrying 320 people arrived in Pueblo today from Denver for the second day of the 2007 State Fair.

The Colorado State Fair Express used one of the largest steam locomotives in the world, and included a full entertainment package.

A free shuttle bus ride carried passengers to the fairgrounds. They will return to Denver on the same train, which had classic dome seating.

It also had a souvenir car, a diner car and a dance car.

The train, Number 844, is based in Cheyenne and was returned to service two years ago after an elaborate and expensive restoration by Union Pacific.
