A man checking on his sister Friday found the woman dead and a man seriously injured in an Aurora home.
Police said they are treating the death as a homicide but have otherwise released few details in the case.
The relative went to the home in the 1100 block of South Quintero Court around 4 p.m. after his sister did not show up for work. Aurora police spokesman Robert Friel said investigators weren’t sure of the nature of the relationship between the woman and the injured man.
Friel declined to release either person’s name and did not provide details on how the woman died. The injured man was taken to the hospital for treatment, but his condition is unclear.
“We have some leads in the case,” Friel said. “We’re hopeful we’re going to solve this particular case.”
