PUEBLO, Colo.—Colorado State University-Pueblo has hired former Air Force assistant coach Tom Miller as an assistant head coach for its newly reinstated football program.

Miller will coach the defensive line and assist with special teams.

Miller was an assistant to former Air Force coach Fisher DeBerry for 23 years. He also has been a line coach at Dartmouth College, The Citadel, Davidson College and the University of Bridgeport.

CSU-Pueblo’s football program was cut in 1985, but the Colorado State University System Board of Governors this spring approved reinstating football, wrestling and women’s track. The ThunderWolves expect to play in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in fall 2008.
