DENVER—The Colorado Rockies recalled three players from Triple-A Colorado Springs following their 7-4 win over the San Francisco Giants on Monday.

Colorado called up right-handed pitcher Denny Bautista, left-hander Dan Serafini and infielder Omar Quintanilla from the Sky Sox.

“Serafini is a left-handed pitcher with experience,” Rockies manager Clint Hurdle said. “Bautista has pitched well for the Springs club. Omar has done whatever we’ve asked him to do.”

This is the third call-up for Quintanilla in 2007. In his two previous stints with the Rockies this year, he hit .256 in 15 games. He hit .318 with two home runs and 42 RBIs for the Sky Sox.

Bautista started 52 games for the Sky Sox, going 3-2 with a 2.92 ERA. He was recalled by the Rockies on April 29 and pitched in seven games, going 2-1 with a 19.06 ERA before being sent back to Colorado Springs on May 13.

Serafini was 0-1 with a 3.48 ERA in 11 games for Colorado Springs.
