Two males died after they were thrown from a car as it rolled down a country road about one mile east of Collbran this morning, officials say.
Collbran is northeast of Grand Junction in Mesa County.
A 1999 Ford Escort ran off the right side of Colorado 330 at about 1 a.m. striking several rocks. The car began to roll after it struck several trees, said Sgt. A. M. Laing, spokesperson for the Colorado State Patrol.
The identities and ages of the two victims have not been released pending notification of family.
The accident was discovered at about 7:30 a.m.
Authorities believe excessive speed contributed to the accident.
