DENVER—The Denver Broncos signed tackle Chad Mustard and released tackle Adam Meadows on Saturday.

Mustard signed with the Broncos as a future-contract signee Jan. 3, 2006, but was waived this past Sept. 1 after training camp.

He entered the NFL as a tight end on the Cleveland Browns practice squad but made the switch to tackle with the Broncos.

Meadows also was part of the Broncos training camp but missed playing time in the preseason with a severely strained calf.
