A teenage girl riding a bicycle was hit by a car driven by another teen today in Fort Collins, police said.
Amanda Miyoshi, 15, was riding a bike at about 7:30 a.m. near Horsetooth Road and Arctic Fox Drive when she was hit by a car driven by a 17-year-old, police said.
Fort Collins police identified the driver of the car as Sabrina Nelson.
Witnesses told investigators that Miyoshi “entered the intersection without yielding the right of way to traffic,” according to a police press release.
Miyoshi was taken to Medical Center of the Rockies by ambulance to be treated for injuries. Details on her condition were not available.
