BOULDER, Colo.—Police say a University of Colorado student was sexually assaulted in a dorm room by a naked man who apparently took LSD before shedding his clothes and running around the campus.
A second man, believed to be the suspect’s roommate, was also reported to be running naked on the campus Thursday night, the Camera newspaper reported on its Web site Friday.
Both were taken to Boulder Community Hospital for treatment of suspected drug overdoses and at least one of them was arrested.
Police said the first man entered a dorm and ran through the halls shouting and knocking on doors. On the third floor, two women opened their door, and the man tackled one of them and sexually assaulted her, police said.
Male residents on the floor intervened and restrained the man until officers arrived, police said.
Chandler Ross Wyatt, 20, a CU freshman, was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault, harassment, indecent exposure, second-degree trespassing, possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest, police said.
The hospital said Friday it had no record of Wyatt. He had no listed phone number.
The other man’s name was not immediately released, and it wasn’t clear whether he faced charges.
