BROOMFIELD, Colo.—Level 3 Communications says CEO James Crowe says a follow-up examination shows no recurrence of a benign tumor on his pituitary gland.
Crowe underwent surgery for the tumor on August 27th at Stanford Hospital and Clinics in California. He had the follow-up exam yesterday.
The executive says, as is normal with his condition, he’ll now scheduled periodic exams to make sure the tumor does NOT recur.
Crowe says he feels great, and is “fully engaged” in his normal business schedule.
The tumor was initially discovered during a routine physical examination.
