Denver police say they have arrested five people on charges of damaging a police car after the Colorado Rockies swept the Arizona Diamondbacks to clinch a World Series berth.
The five suspects face charges of felony criminal mischief. If found guilty, they could be sentenced to up to six years in prison and ordered to pay restitution.
Police say the five were videotaped jumping on a police car Oct. 15 after the Rockies’ 6-4 victory over the Diamondbacks in the National League Championship Series.
