The brother of a man suspected of having been in the Chevrolet Tahoe used in the drive-by shooting of Denver Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams has reached an agreement with federal prosecutors.

Marvin “Coffee” Bragg is scheduled to change his not- guilty plea to crack-cocaine conspiracy charges on Nov. 2, court records show.

Bragg is the brother of Daniel “Pony Tail” Harris, who several police sources have said is believed to have been riding in the SUV early Jan. 1 when Williams was gunned down in downtown Denver.

No one has been charged in the Williams case.

The brothers were indicted in April in a crack-cocaine distribution case involving the Rolling 30s Crips. Prosecutors have alleged that the gang was moving hundreds of kilograms of cocaine on the streets of Denver.

Harris returned from Cancun, Mexico, several months after the Williams shooting because he heard that he was facing charges in the drug case, according to court filings.

In the past two weeks, court records show that Bragg, girlfriend Tamika Knight and another man suspected of having been a passenger in the Tahoe during the shooting, Vernon “Lil Thirty Ounce” Edwards, have agreed to change their pleas and assist prosecutors.

Also, Knight has information that homicide detectives are interested in, but court documents do not indicate which homicide Knight may have knowledge about.

Bragg’s attorney, Jeralyn Merritt, denied that he had gang ties and said he has no information about the Williams case.
