COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Colorado Springs police say a 16-year-old boy wounded when another teen opened fire with a shotgun is in critical condition at a Denver hospital.
Police say Jeremy Vasquez was wounded and 18-year-old Michael Fisher was killed when Andrew Brown shot them. Police say Brown shot himself to death after beating his ex-girlfriend with the butt of a shotgun.
The girl, 16-year-old Tiffany Howard, is being treated in a Colorado Springs hospital for a fractured skull.
Howard had recently broken up with Brown. Police say Brown tracked her down on Monday and opened fire on her companions after a car chase.
