JEFFERSON COUNTY — Blankets and sleeping bags are needed by the Jeffco Action Center.
“Families come to us in need of blankets this time of the year,” said Nancy Morgan, the center’s operations director. “Moms and dads want to put their children to bed protected from the chill of the night. They will keep their thermostats dangerously low to avoid high utility bills that they cannot afford on their extremely tight budgets.”
