COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Colorado Springs police are investigating a possible case of abuse after a 3-month-old boy was taken to a hospital with a head injury.
Lieutenant Sal Fiorillo says the baby’s condition is serious, but not life-threatening.
The boy arrived at Memorial Hospital yesterday.
Hospital staffers say the boy was brought in with apparent seizures, and an examination revealed signs of a severe head injury.
Fiorillo says an accident has not been ruled out.
The name of the child has not been released.
