Workers mixing epoxy became concerned when the mixture began giving off heat. Someone poured water on the mixture resulting in toxic vapors.
Spokeswoman Becky O’Guin says the building was evacuated, but workers were allowed to return after about an hour. The 11 people sent to the hospital complained of respiratory trouble and eye irritation.
O’Guin says the fumes were contained in the building.
