FORT COLLINS, Colo.—A man arrested in connection with two sexual assaults near the Colorado State University campus in September is a university employee.
Samuel Kase White, who was being held on a $1 million bond Tuesday, was being held on two counts of sexual assault and two counts of burglary in connection with the Sept. 28 assaults, police said.
White, 30, was accused of entering residences before dawn through unlocked doors and assaulting the women while they slept.
White also was arrested on Sept. 8 and again on Sunday on allegations of window-peeping. White was accused of following two women home, then looking into their windows, police spokeswoman Rita Davis said.
The CSU Web site lists White as an administrative assistant in Human Resource Services. CSU spokeswoman Dell Rae Moellenberg said the university was not aware of the earlier arrests but was getting more details.
Police were still investigating whether White also is connected with two sexual assaults and a physical assault in August. In the sexual assaults, the suspect entered through an unlocked door or window and began assaulting the women while they slept.
The victims in all five assaults gave police similar suspect descriptions.
