PROLOGIS: Announced that chairman and chief executive Jeff Schwartz has been named Industrial Property Executive of the Year for 2007 by Commercial Property News.

KEYBANK NATIONAL ASSOCIATION: Announced the addition of Susan King as senior human resources manager for the Rocky Mountain region. The bank also named Wesley Zepelin as senior vice president and market manager of Key Private Bank.

DENVER NEWSPAPER AGENCY: Appointed Bernie Szachara as vice president of operations and promoted Robert Kinney to vice president of information technology and pre-publishing.

DILLON: The Town Council appointed Noah Klug and Jerry Peterson to the planning and zoning commission and Barb Richard to the parks and recreation committee.

MARTIN/MARTIN: Announced that its principal, C. Ben Nelson, was elected to the board of directors of the National Council of Structural Engineers Associations. Nelson has been Colorado’s delegate since 1999.

DTJ: Announced that landscape architect Robb Williamson received the distinguished presidential award from the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards.

BURNS MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS: Named Kerri Jones, a Colorado State University senior, as the winner of Spark — the creative scholarship program, designed to help college students start their marketing careers.

ALEXANDER CAPITAL MANAGEMENT GROUP: Named Scott Farrar president and chief operating officer; Charlotte Peterson, chief investment officer; and Chris Frei muth, senior vice president and senior analyst/portfolio manager. It also promoted Tom Van Horn to chief compliance officer in addition to his operations manager responsibilities.

COMMERCIAL CAPITAL INC.: Appointed Adam Margolin as senior vice president of capital markets.

REGISTERED REP.: Ranked Mark J. Smith, a wealth manager and founder of M.J. Smith and Associates, as the top independent financial adviser in Colorado.
