PUEBLO — A toddler has been hospitalized with the flu, according to health officials — the first hospitalization of the flu season in Pueblo County and the eighth in the state. The child had not gotten the flu vaccine, according to health officials.
Two flu patients in Jefferson County, two in Adams County and one each in Boulder, Kiowa and El Paso counties also have been hospitalized, and the state health department is reporting “low but gradually increasing” levels of flu activity in the Front Range, but no outbreaks in the state.
