DENVER—A national report gives Colorado a score of nine out of 10 on preparedness for a public health emergency.
But the report by the Trust For America’s Health says Colorado is one of only seven states that haven’t stockpiled antiviral drugs in case of a flu pandemic.
The report was issued Tuesday.
Colorado met the report’s other nine indicators, ranging from emergency plans for distributing medicine to spending on public health.
Last year, Colorado scored six out of nine on the report, but the indicators were different.
