“Baby, it’s cold outside.”
Yes, it’s a Jessica Simpson song, but it also could describe how Terrell Owens made her feel for coming to watch his quarterback (and her boyfriend) Tony Romo in person last Sunday.
Romo had what was statistically the worst game of his career as Simpson watched from a luxury box. The Cowboys lost 10-6 to Philadelphia.
The problem for her is that Romo’s previous worst game came last season at home to the Eagles when then-girlfriend Carrie Underwood was in attendance.
Asked Wednesday about the Simpson scenario, Owens playfully chimed in: “Right now, Jessica Simpson is not a fan favorite — in this locker room or in Texas Stadium.”
So, Jessica, even if you find Tony “Irresistible,” you need to “Let Him Fly.” Let him get “Fired Up.” “Between You and I,” maybe it’s best to tell yourself, “I Don’t Want to Care.” There’s always time after the game to tell Tony “If You Were Mine.”
So “Push Your Tush” out of the way.
