Funeral services were today for a Fort Collins woman shot to death allegedly by a New Year’s reveler who claims he was shooting at a streetlight.
Rebecca “Becky” Yanez, 47, was remembered at Holy Family Catholic Church in Fort Collins and buried at Grand View Cemetery.
A rosary for the other victim, 11-year-old Angelica Martinez, be will tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. at St. Cajetan Church, 299 S. Stuart St., in Denver.
Services for Angelica are set for 10 a.m. Thursday at the same location.
The Denver District attorney is expected today to file formal charges against the alleged shooter, Pedro Cortez, 25.
