Douglas County officials are seeking a court order sealing an autopsy report of a murdered man whose body was found near a Mercedes SUV in Douglas County on Sunday.
The body of Henry Blair, 61, of Castle Rock, was found next to the white SUV Sunday morning just off the Happy Canyon Road interchange with Interstate 25.
He was a real estate broker and lived in Castle Pines.
The court request by Deputy County Attorney Kelly Dunnaway indicates that Blair was the victim of a homicide.
Dunnaway said releasing the autopsy results from County Coroner Wesley A. Riber would interfere with a homicide investigation.
The body showed “signs of trauma,” according to Cocha Heyden of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office. She did not clarify what that means.
