Denver: The Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Colorado Marade will be at 9 a.m. at Denver City Park, 1800 York St.

Golden: A celebration of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life will be from 5:15 to 7 p.m. in the Green Center, 924 16th St. on the Colorado School of Mines campus. Includes a free meal, student poetry, entertainment and a presentation by Denver-area service organizations. Reverb and the Verse, a progressive hip-hop group, will perform during the celebration.
