A Denver man has been formally charged with fondling a child he grabbed in a downtown bookstore last weekend.
Ian Troutman, 26, was charged with one count each of sexual assault on a child and enticement of a child after he pulled a 7-year-old into a secluded area of the store where he fondled her, according to a release from the Denver District Attorney’s Office.
Troutman was arrested after the girl reported the assault, and Denver police identified Troutman as the attacker as he left the bookstore. The name of the bookstore was not released.
Troutman remained in the Denver County Jail Thursday in lieu of $250,000 bail.
