Colorado senior Maria Grevsgaard on Saturday set a school record with her 14th individual skiing title, winning the women’s 10-kilometer freestyle in a time of 29 minutes, 3.9 seconds in the Western State Invitational at Crested Butte.

CU leads the overall standings with 505.5 points, followed by Utah with 502 and Denver at 493. The 10-team meet will conclude Thursday with the men’s giant slalom.

Pioneers sweep Cowgirls.

The University of Denver women’s tennis team swept the singles and doubles matches Sunday in Colorado Springs against Wyoming, winning 7-0.

Adams State wrestlers roll.

Adams State, ranked fifth in the NCAA Division II Wrestling Coaches Association poll, coasted to a 32-9 victory over Mesa State on Sunday.

The Grizzlies jumped out to a 21-0 lead, and improved to 8-1 this season and 6-0 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, while Mesa State dropped to 1-15 and 0-7 in the RMAC.
