A woman driving a red BMW was killed Sunday night when she lost control of the speeding vehicle on C-470 near Kipling Street, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
Numerous witnesses told investigators the car raced past them before losing control and rolling several times at about 6:40 p.m., said Trooper Ryan Sullivan.
The woman was from the Denver area, but Sullivan said he could not identify the women pending notice of her relatives.
The investigation shut down two of the three eastbound lanes of C-470 for hours Sunday evening.
