Colorado Springs police have arrested a maintenance worker accused of stealing $40,000 worth of equipment from his employer.

Christopher Poundstone, 39, of Colorado Springs, was booked into the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center today on a charge of felony theft, according to a Colorado Springs Police Department press release. He is accused of stealing computer parts, tools and other items from the Goodrich Company in Colorado Springs and selling them on eBay.

According to a police press release, the Goodrich Company found listings of their property on eBay and attempted to purchase the items. The transaction revealed Poundstone’s identity. A search of Poundstone’s residence recovered stolen items valued at over $30,000, police said.
