Burglars who strike between 5 and 11:30 p.m. have been prying open or kicking in front and rear doors in west Boulder, officials say.
The thieves, who target homes on corner lots or homes with easy access to back yards, have been snatching jewelry and flat screen televisions, said Sarah Huntley, Boulder police spokeswoman.
In some cases, suspects have entered through unlocked doors, she said. Boulder detectives are urging residents to be aware of suspicious people, cars and activity in their neighborhoods, Huntley said.
Similar style burglaries are believed to be occurring in areas surrounding Boulder, she said.
