COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A second suspect in a deadly weekend shooting in Colorado Springs is now behind bars in Kentucky.

FBI agents and police arrested 35-year-old Darneau V. Pepper at a residence in Hopkinsville, Kentucky on Thursday afternoon.

He was wanted for first-degree murder in the deaths early Saturday of 20-year-old Darrell Mitchell and 21-year-old Samone Robinson. They were shot early Saturday at an apartment complex.

Authorities say 20-year-old Derek Austin and 27-year-old Maurice Magazine were wounded.

Police Lieutenant Skip Arms says Pepper has acquaintances in Hopkinsville, but it’s unclear if he was with them. Investigators from the Colorado Springs Police Department went to Kentucky last night.

Thirty-two-year-old Hiram Larry Sampson was arrested Sunday.
