SANTA MONICA, Calif. — Nancy Reagan’s spokeswoman says the former first lady is staying overnight in a hospital after falling in her Bel-Air home. Joanne Drake says the 86- year-old Reagan is doing well after being taken to St. John’s Health Center in Santa Monica on Sunday. Doctors determined she did not break a hip as feared.
Drake said Reagan is staying in the same room where former President Reagan stayed after he broke his hip at home in 2001.
She said Reagan was “joking and visiting in her room.”
