A benefit film night for the Challenged Athletes Foundation will be held Saturday at the Starz Film Center.

The first film is “The Runner,” which tells the story of ultrarunner David Horton as he covers 40 miles per day for more than two months traveling from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail.

The second film is “What It Takes,” which is about four athletes training for — and competing in — the 2005 world triathlon championships.

The Challenged Athletes Foundation supports the athletic endeavors of physically challenged athletes by providing grants for training, competition and equipment.

The benefit begins with a silent auction at 4:30 p.m., with “The Runner” showing at 5:15 p.m. and “What It Takes” at 7:45 p.m. For more information, check out the website (www.braveheartsandbrews.org).
