BOULDER, Colo.—Police in Boulder say they’ve impounded a vehicle they believe was involved in a hit-and-run collision that injured a teenage boy.
Authorities say an anonymous call led officers to the 1990s black Volvo at a Boulder home. Boulder police spokeswoman Sarah Huntley says the car is now being processed for evidence.
The 16-year-old boy was hit just before 6 p.m. Saturday. He was taken to a hospital for a broken bone and some bruises, but has since returned home.
Huntley says some witness reports indicated the car accelerated before hitting the boy.
The driver has not been arrested.
Huntley says the investigation is ongoing.
