LOS ANGELES — John B. Torkelsen, who served as an expert witness for indicted law firm Milberg Weiss, agreed to plead guilty to lying to federal judges in securities class-action cases about the payments he received.
Torkelsen, 62, who is serving a prison sentence in an unrelated matter, agreed to plead guilty to one count of perjury, the U.S. attorney in Los Angeles said Thursday.
