LITTLE ROCK—Arkansas-Little Rock’s Steven Moore and Denver’s Adam Tanner both had hot hands Thursday night, but it was Moore’s Trojans who prevailed Thursday night, 66-55.
Moore finished with 23 points after going 8-for-11 from the field, including 3-of-5 from long distance. Tanner hit 7-of-10 of his field-goal attempts and scored 20 points.
UALR (18-10, 10-7 Sun Belt Conference) led 37-30 at the half after hitting 60 percent of its shots from the field in the first period.
The Trojans also got 10 points from Mike Smith.
Nigel Peter-Denman scored 14 points for Denver (11-17, 7-10) and Rob Lewis added 10.
