1908: Westminster University, built in 1892 at a cost of $200,000 but never occupied, said it would open as a college of liberal arts and a technical school. The complex is now owned by the Pillar of Fire Church.
1958: Mrs. Richard L. Brown of Fort Morgan won first place in The Post’s modern home laundry contest. Her winning entry stated: “A modern laundry in my home would mean mother could rock while laundry jobs roll.”
