DALLAS — In a situation that is familiar to longtime Avalanche fans, they will be watching their team without star Peter Forsberg for the immediate future.
Forsberg was forced out of tonight’s game with the Dallas Stars with a groin injury, the team said. The team gave little information about the severity of the injury, other than saying “hopefully it won’t be long” before he returns.
Forsberg played three games with Colorado before the injury. He has had several groin issues before, along with many other injury problems that have plagued his career.
