A rolled semi-tractor and trailer shut down lanes on a metro highway during this morning’s rush hour.
Westbound lanes of Interstate 76 near Colorado Boulevard reopened shortly before 1 p.m., according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The accident, which happened at about 5:30 a.m., is under investigation.
The driver of the semi, who is from Texas, had some type of medical condition that contributed to the accident, said Trooper Gilbert Mares, a Colorado State Patrol spokesman.
Further details on the driver’s condition were not available.
