DENVER—Some Colorado schools are closed or are operating on a delayed schedule Monday as a storm that has dumped rain and snow across the state starts tapering off.

The National Weather Service has canceled most winter storm warnings, including one for the eastern plains. A snow and blowing snow advisory is in effect for some portions of southern and western Colorado.

Officials reported at least 11 inches of snow near Evergreen, 9 inches near Georgetown, 5 inches near Boulder and 3 inches near Fort Collins.

No major road closures have been reported, although conditions range from wet to snowpacked in spots and some chain restrictions are in place.
