A body was found in a field near Bull Frog Liquors in Fort Collins today, according to police.
The middle-aged man appeared to be camping, and there were indications of a crime that led to his death, police said. Shallow snow covered his campsite, police said.
The man who found the body went to the liquor store near Willox Lane and North College Avenue. A store worker and a delivery man walked over to see for themselves and then called police.
The victim had no identification.
“He appears to be a homeless individual,” said Rita Davis, spokeswoman for the Fort Collins Police Department.
An autopsy will be performed to determine how the man died.
