Two men were stabbed early this morning in downtown Denver as bars closed and people spilled out onto the streets.
The stabbings happened at about 2 a.m. outside a nightclub near the corner of 15th and Market Streets, said Sharon Hahn, a Denver police spokeswoman.
The victims were taken to a local hospital. Their names were not released, and details on their conditions were not available.
Police have “multiple” suspects in custody, Hahn said, and the investigation is ongoing.
On Nov. 4, violence erupted in the same area at about the same time, as the bars let out. Anthony Chavez, 25, is accused of killing Theodore “Ted” Padilla and wounding six others in that incident. Chavez has been charged with first-degree murder and is being held at the Denver Jail.
